Thanks to Hudson Rose: Fuckin awesome! The jets kicked off the night with a kickarse set, Gleeson being the highlight rippin into John Howard (the git) & George Bush (the dick). Songs included my old favourite 'Better'. Velvet Revolver came on you knew you were in for a kickarse show. They played some old gunners songs including Mr Brownstone, Used to love Her, It's so Easy. End of the night saw Slither and some nice solos from Slash. A kickarse concert.

I GOT Slash'S SETLIST!!

Thanks to Marcus: This was my very first concert EVER and I have been the biggest Guns and Roses fan since the day I heard Paradise City. This was the best show ever! I still can not register in my mind how close I was to Slash! They played Mr. Brownstone! And Slither went absolutly off. We will be sure to see them again in Australia hopefully next year when their new album is out. LONG LIVE Velvet Revolver

Thanks to Hammo: Well without swearing, that was a freakin good show.

That show was one for the archives. Velvet Revolver are sooo good. Everyone does their job perfectly, especially Slash, my hero since I started the guitar. Maaan I want a top hat...a lot. What can I say, Scott Weiland was bloody awesome, Dave Kushner played the perfect supporting role for the god Slash and Duff was looking like he's been working out for World's Strongest Man. Matt Sorum was pretty sick on the drums, especially when he hit this massive gong behind him. The Horden Pavilion is a small venue and I was probably about three metres away from Slash, I could admire his tattoos. Some tosser in the crowd held up an Axl Rose sign and Scott clicked it at him, I have never heard anyone say f*** so many times in fifteen seconds. It was such a mad show especially the encores and in the final chorus of Fall To Pieces, when Slash, Duff and Scott all stood up on the front amps, with Scott belting it out. Duff bassing it in this cool waistcoat and Slash absolutely ripping it. That was the greatest night of my life, omg I saw Slash play guitar.....

Thanks to Tash Bernard: Velvet Revolver concert was the most amazing, funnest concert I have ever experienced! I have been to many concerts in my life and I say this all the time but I'm dead serious! I made my way to the front row both nights, danced, moshed and sang whilst admiring Scotty and all the awesome guys of Velvet Revolver performance and energy that they made with themselves and the whole Sydney crowd!! You guys rock!! Can't wait for more!! Pleeaase???

Thanks to Ben T: What can I say the best rock band of the 21st century. Velvet Revolver ROCKED not a single fan went home disapointed with their performance, Scott is an unbelievable frontman and has a perfect rock image. Slash however was the highlight for me as I was in the front row with my mates and Slash was within metres ripping it up on the guitar, Dave and Duff were very exciting interacting with the crowd and Matt I must say was very inpressive teasing Gunners fans with drum beats from great hits such as 'You Could Be Mine'. All of the tunes were spot on excellent show unfortunately some wanker tossed a bottle at Slash during a song which caused him to move also at Matt. I didn't see any others hit the band but they were being tossed.

Thanks to Rock 'n F'n Roll: The best concert ever. I thought nothing would top the '93 GNR concert at Eastern Creek, but this concert was by far the best I have ever been too.

Thanks to Samantha: The gig went off! Screaming Jets rocked, the mosh was crazy absolutely fuckin crazy then Velvet Revolver came on and it was insane!! Best gig I've EVER been to. Slash is a god and Duff is just plain hot. Hope everyone who went had as good time as me! Bit of a bummer that some of the merch sold out tho...

PLEASE COME BACK Velvet Revolver!!

Thanks to Flash: Great show although sound was second rate. Slash can't play acoustic, stuffed up heaps. The sound was like a cheap radio. The Jets sounded much better, quality wise. Having said that next time guys don't skimp on the p.a. Smashing Pumkins sounded like a cd at this venue, louder and crystal clear so it is possible. The show was 7/10 only cause the sound was crap. Shame cause the rest was 10/10

Thanks to Benjo: Sydney show was awesome!!! By far the best live show I've ever seen. We got there early and got a good spot right up close to the stage in the moshpit. Screaming Jets were awesome and really got the crowd pumped up. Dave Gleeson went crazy on stage and the crowd loved it. After Screaming Jets finished Velvet Revolver left the crowd to wait in anticipation for about 15 mins but when they came on the crowd went wild. Scott Weiland was great he really interacted with crowd and sounded great live. Duff frequently walked around the stage so everyone in the crowd could get a good look. But Slash was just INSANE. He is by far on of the greatest guitarists of all time. He provided spine tingling guitar riffs that everyone in the crowd just stood there and admired. And when the top hat came on the crowd went wild. Old Gunners songs 'It's So Easy' and 'Used To Love Her' were crowd favourites although songs like 'Sucker Train Blues', 'Fall To Pieces' and 'Slither'' really went off. All in all a very very awesome night. One I will never forget.

Thanks to Clubber Lang: Best rock show ever. Started with Screaming Jet for around 1/2 hr. Velvet Revolver came out 30 minutes afterwards. Slash seem to be enjoying himself, hell... everyone was enjoying themself. Best moment for me would be the Used to Love her part (gnr style) and Mr brownstone. Scott saw a banner, something about Axl. Scott responsed by saying something like this "if you want to see the blonde bald fat man, come back in 10 years time" hahahahahaha.

Thanks to Jealousy_666: I only have a few words.....ROCK FUCKIN' ROLL!!!!! The show went off, the crowd was psyched, when they played 'Fall To Pieces' there wasn't one person in the whole pavilion who wasn't singing. Scott worked the stage like a rock god and there are no words to describe Slash and Duff except brilliant!!! Matt did a bit of drum solo before the rest of the band come on after intermission, and that rocked!!! So yeah....ROCK FUCKIN' ROLL!!

Thanks to Angela: My very first rock concert...IT WAS FUCKIN AWESOME...!!

Scott was completely amazing, Slash and Duff kicked ass and as for Matt he kept the crowd pumping. The other guitarist was good too!!!

Scott is sexy!!

Thanks to inky: Quite simply this show went off. Best rock show in Aus in the last 10 years, hands down. They are so tight it was unbelievable! Great sound, lots of movement, all round fantastic. The crowd went off and Velvet Revolver looked like they appreciated it. Scott had some interesting remarks to a punt with an "Axl Rose" sign down the front which got everyone fired up.

Who would have thought that Scott Weiland was a strutting rock god? He was amazing, great vocals all night, fantastic crowd interaction and moved like no one I've ever seen before.

Slash played great, changed guitars every song (great to see the BC rich mockingbird make an appearance!) and when the top hat came out at the end everyone went off! They played a rock version of Used To Love Her which was loved by one and all.

Duff was steady all night, played great and provided some great crowd interaction, I was impressed with how he moved around alot and made all the audience even those on the sides feel they were a part of the show.

Dave was a surprise, seeing as many people regard him as a wallflower hiding in the backgrounds after 3 - 4 songs he was moving around as much as anyone, running back and forth alng the stage. Great guitarist and showed he's a great live performer as well.

Matt was great on drums, actaully I was much more impressed with his live drumming than that on the record!

All in all, this has to be the greatest rock act in the world at the moment. I'll be there when they come back, that's for sure. Can't wait to hear the new album!

Thanks to Jeff: Gig was awesome. Kicked of with Screaming Jets going off - they are the perfect band to get this show started and really peaked the crowd when they played better. But the night was truly about Velvet Revolver. Having never seen Slash perform before, that part was as expected something very special. But what suprised me was how much the songs sprang to life and really breathed through the crowd. The energy was intense from start to finish. We were saying before the gig how short the shows were but mate - don't think we could've taken much more! Half-way through Scott had a chat to the crowd saying how he liked how happy people were and complimented the lack of violence in the crowd. Gave us a chance to catch our breath for five minutes or so then back in to the high intesity. Seeing the guys cut out the old gunners tunes - Slash in the top hat got the nostalgia going for a lot of the crowd. Used To Love Her and It's So Easy were huge crowd favourites. Show finished with Mr Brownstone and Slither. Whilst the Gunners songs were great the Contraband songs really come to life live - Definate Velvet Revolver fan for life!
