Thanks to Raul: Hi guys, I'm from Chile. I was on vacation in LA when played VR in Santa Barbara. The concert was awesome. Slash is a master guitar.

Thanks to Simone: Hey I went to the Santa Barbara gig on the 15 of April and it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. They played every song on their album except Loving The Alien. They also play Used To Love Her, It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone and Sex Type Thing. And Slash wore his top hat. It was most excellent. Yeah see ya later

Thanks to Amanda: Velvet Revolver had GREAT energy and they sounded fabulous. One problem, and that was b/c the concert set-up itself as opposed to the band: I was at the very front of the pit and Scott's vocals were drowned out (apparently it wasn't like this in the seats) so I could only really hear him when he was close to me. Other than that, though, it was a fantastic show.

Thanks to Christina: The show was amazing. I was about four feet from the stage, right where Slash was standing. And since this was the first time I saw Velvet Revolver in concert, it was great to have spots so close to all the action. My only complaint was the unorganized way of getting wristbands for floor access. Scott is an amazing performer (only problem was that you couldn't hear any vocals). I hope to see them again soon!

My favorite performance was Mr. Brownstone. As soon as I heard the first few notes, my friends and I just about lost it!

By the way, they didn't play Crackerman, unfortunately. I would loved to see one more STP cover performance.

Thanks to sasbme: I was at the county bowl last night. It was my first time to see Velvet Revolver. My seats were great, I wasn't GA. I agree with Wendybird about the unfriendly staff and craving more. Where I was people seem sedated but that didn't stop me from ROCK N F**K'N OUT! Simply the best bunch of musicians ever.

Thanks to Mike Stevens: Hey guys,

This is Mike Stevens. I'm a cousin of David Kushner. I would just like to thank David and Velvet Revolver along with Angie and Davids wife and his parents Sam and Renee Costa for everything. The show was simply awesome. I had so much fun at it. It's too bad we didn't get to meet them but that's alright. My friends and myself had a blast watching you guys play. That was the loudest concert I've ever been to. Just for your information, Paul Walker from The Fast and the Furious movies attended your concert. My friends and I met him before the concert started. He sat behind us with his girlfriend. They looked to be having an awesome time like I was. Thanks a lot guys. Lemme know if you will be playing at the Mid-State Fair this year or next up in Paso Robles :) Thanks again.

Thanks to Angie Smith: We got wristbands to go down front!! We were 10 feet away till the mosh started, I'm not as young a gal as I used to be so I had to back up. It left me high all weekend... Rock and fuckin roll is right!!! You guys are it!!! Scott hang in there. I said a prayer for you. Who cares what that asshole thinks. His insensitivity broke my heart. We all love you and want you healthy. Velvet Revolver IS THE ROCK BAND OF TODAY. Please keep rockin for the sake of your fans. I can't give enough kudos. Much love, Angiebaby

Thanks to Lorenzo: The crowd was wild, the band was tight and the women were looking fine. I can't recall the set list, sorry, but it was all the new Contraband disc minus Loving the Alien and STPs Sex Type Thing, GNRs Mr Brownstone, It's So Easy. I thought it was hard to hear Scott at times, not because of his voice, which was great, but because of the sound mix. My highlight was Sucker Train Blues, Slash's guitar work on it was outstanding. Hope they hit the area again.

Thanks to Coolio420: THE CONCERT WAS AWESOME! I couldn't believe how cool it was to actually see Velvet Revolver live. It was beyond description! The only bummer was Hoobastank opening for them. That bummed me out, but hey, it can't always be PERFECT.

Thanks to Wendybird: Just came back. No pictures this time. I got my camera in but stupid, gigantor baldy security threatened to take it away. Rrrrrrr He totally stole my grove...I think I've been far to spoiled the other times. All I could see was the beautiful colors surrounding each bandmate and all I wanted to do was capture some of the magic that is Velvet Revolver but he was being a prick. The worse thing about it was that the venue would have been an ideal spot to take pictures. The stage wasn't too high I had a great view of Matt pounding his drums away and the barricade was pretty small. Anyhow, this time I got to hear YGNR without any screaming in my ear. It was beautiful. It was no Smashbox, but it was still beautiful. A big, big thank you to Amber for hooking me up with a ticket. I also met some new friends that did manage to take pictures. They promised to share.

To be completely honest I enjoyed San Diego much more and not just because of the camera. I don't know but SD seemed a bit moreā€¦special. However, Matt was in rare form and Dave made a legion of new fans that were going crazy for him. That was pretty cool to see. Everyone I spoke to had a blast. Many of the people around me were Velvet Revolver virgins it was nice to seet their reaction to the band. Velvet Revolver like any good sex, once you know what it's all about you always crave more.

The venue seemed to be full and like others noted lots of Alice in Chains before the show.

I liked the actual venue but I hated how it was run. Coors had it more together and they semmed to be friendlier. Unless I have a photopass or something I don't think I'll see another concert there.

I have a feeling that tomorrow will be unreal.
