Thanks to lhpt: Omg the concert was absolutely amazing - Velvet Revolver rocked the place...
It was great to see them in such a small venue; Scott mentioned as well that they have been playing festivals of 20 - 25000 people lately and that it is a real treat/fix for them to play this concert in Imst (the venue was a big top that held about 1500-1700 people).
Anyway, the crowd went nuts the moment the band walked on stage and everyone just rocked out till the very last song. It was awesome to see the band so close (the barrier was less than a meter away from the stage).
During Sex Type Thing, Scott left the stage and sang the rest of the song from the place where the soundboard was located - in the middle/back of the venue. Great performance altogether!
Thanks to René: It was a good fuckin' 100 min show - they didn't seem to be tired or pist of or something else.
The only thing I'm not happy with is there pa-sound.
It was the same shit as in Munich last year. They played so fuckin' loud, that you couldn't really hear Slash's fantastic guitar-solos.
But that's the only thing I'm missing ... sorry guys ... fire up your pa-sound-personal ;-)))
Slash wouldn't be happy if he was standing in the crowd yesterday!!!!
But ... Slash rockzzz!!!!!! A triple hell yeah!!!!
Thanks to Daniel: Great show yesterday! The show was held inside a circus tent, which is kind of an unusual venue for a rock show. But the guys seemed to really enjoy the small place, with attendence of about 1000 compared to all the big festival gigs they were playing recently! The band was really powerful, trying to interact a lot with the audience, delivering a great performance, rocking the crowd for about 1hr 50 min!
For sure, the band didn't seem to be tired of playing, especially Scott was far from being exhausted. It looked like this little club gig atmosphere revitalized him again!
I've seen Velvet Revolver several times before, but I have to say that this was the most energetic show I've ever seen.
Thanks boys for a wonderful evening!!!!!!
