Thanks to E.W.: It was the BEST concert in the year!!! Velvet Revolver is the best rockband in the world!

Thanks to Black Velvet Revolver: This was the first time I saw these guys, but I really hope it wasn't the last!! So I think this concert was extremely cool!!! I've been waiting for this show for a very long time. The arena wasn't the best, but the fans went crazy when they finally started the show with Suckertrain Blues! I was there with my brother and with one of my friends, when we heard the first guitar riff, we just started the scream and shout. So it was really awesome! Listening to Slash's guitar solo, Duff's bass thing, Matt's cool drumbeats, Dave's enthusiasm and Scott's voice and perfonmance was just fantastic!!!!!

Unfortunaly I could not get an autograph or take a photo together with these great guys, but I hope that someday I will get one or talk to them a few words. Thank you, guys!!!! Velvet Revolver ROCKS!!!!!

Thanks to Velvet Revolver Girl: This show was absolutely AMAZING!!! The guys played so great and the sound was just fantastic! It's one of the best concerts I've ever been to!

In my opinion, the best played songs at the concert were: Sucker Train Blues, It's So Easy, Mr.Brownstone, Sex Type Thing, Crackerman, Set Me Free, Slither and Fall To Pieces.

This was my first time seeing this guys, and I can't wait for them to come back again!

Thanks to Nico: ;) Hi... I'm from Serbia and Montenegro and I was there only for this gig. Show was fantastic. I was in 1st row! :) Big greets for all people (22) in my country who was there after 14 hours waiting for concert begin. I was very tired but, this is what I'm waiting for...

Thanks to George: The sound was terrible! The guitar sound was under the limit. The concert? Well...if you are a G'N'R fan...a bit disappointing but good for some nostalgy. If you are Slash fan it was OK. I was enjoyed it but something is missing. I think Sucker Train Blues the best song but it was the first song played and the guitar sound was "far behind":(

Best part for me: Wish You Were Here. (Sorry guys!)
I have a feeling: Velvet Revolver like the second part of a blockbuster movie. Everybody want to see it because the first part was really good..and it doesn't matter how good is the second part. You will buy the ticket!

Thanks to azazello: They put up a great and long performance, with Scott in great shape. You couldn't really notice that they were very tired.

Thanks to Kov: The show was great, but the guys fucked up Fall to Pieces a bit. But that wasn't too bad. All the other songs rocked, especially the 2 GNR songs. Dave threw a lot of picks, Slash didn't. I almost had an autograph on my Les Paul's pickguard, 'cause I asked the photographer to ask Slash to sign it, but the asshole security guy didn't let the pickguard in, because he said that is a weapon. (I was a bit angry... A LITTLE bit angry... Yeah, sure, the photographer will stick that plastic piece of shit into the Velvet Revolver members, of course. Stupid..)

Thanks to Keco: Hey, this show rocked! I was shocked and amazed and all kinda stuff. The guys were tired, but the show was amazing! The best performance I've ever seen! Scott is a fucking cool frontman! He made a cool show. I was a bit sad, because I haven't seen Slash smiling, except when he unfortunately hit a security guard with his guitar during a solo. It was funny. :) He laughed. The audience went crazy, when Duff started Sucker Train Blues. All of them were great, my biggest dream came true! Thank you guys! See ya soon!

Thanks to Rune: PARTICIPATION - ACTION.... Scott's message seemed to reach the many Hungarians that were rockin' with Velvet Revolver in Budapest this hot Wednesday. My friend and I went from Denmark only for this gig and we would do it again in an instant!! It's just the second time we attend a Velvet Revolver gig - F¤ckin' fantastic!!

The sound in the very small open arena was not of the best, but they made it sound as best as it possibly could. Contraband is the greatest rock album released in so many years and the energy these guys put in a performance, is pure gold - it makes any other band look like a high-school band. We are looking SO much forward to hearing them again next Thursday in Denmark - Rock N' roll is about them AND us ! Participation, action... Thx guys!

Thanks to Orosz Balazs: So. Finally they are back again. Slash is maybe now pretty familiar with Budapest. He was here back with Guns then I believe in '96 with the Snakepit at the Sziget Festival and now again in a 6000 place. The band that started the 20:00 clock schedule was a false try. I'd be glad to say they weren't but they were. It was the typical boring rock music from a band called Zoral. That's why I hate bands like Bloodhound Gang and others. They played old Hungarian hits from all eras. Anyway, I thought the worse is this the better Revolver gonna be. From someone I heard that they will be on the stage at 21:00. I ran out to buy some more beers (not that I didn't drink enough already..) and by 21:20 they started the show. It was real rock blowing from the stage. I was standing right in front of the stage at the 4th row and the crowd just got into it immediately. I didn't see much from them so I got out after the first 3 songs. Sorry for not being informative with the setlist but I don't know yet the names but it was structured perfectly for the Hungarian (and numerous foreign students) Guns hungered fans. I even yelled in shots like 'We don't need no Paradise City!' or 'Rose is a fuckin loser'. Yep. I was drunk this time. What I recognized immediately (outside the two usual Guns songs) Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here which was started with Slash's very very gentle and joyful runs. Some blues play if you like. It was the highlight of the show for me but so was Fall To Pieces as well and the whole show. They brought some fresh tunes over here where we really needed it. There was also a real vibe during the show. The audiences participation got them rocking even harder. They played almost 110 minutes so it was hard to get back to the street level when walking outta the arena..
