Thanks to Apostolos: Zakk Wylde and his band were great but Velvet Revolver was really something amazing. Man 30.000 Greeks gone fucking wild IT WAS A GREAT SHOW!! I won't forget that show for the rest of my life. I am a guitarist and Slash is one of my favourite guitarists. Watching him live it was something that I can't describe it with words. The sound wasn't really good. BUT WHO CARES!!!

Thanks to Maria: Actually the only reason why I went to Rockwave Festival was to see Slash!! And he really blew my mind!!I didn't really concentrate on Black Label Society cause I was tryin' to get a better place to see Slash! When he came on stage I almost got killed cause everybody went craaazy!! It was the best feelin' I've ever had in my whole life!!!!! I guess I'm not the only one. The best part of the whole night was when Slash took off his shirt and was playin' in front of me naked...Oh my God!!!!

Thanks to Velvet Revolver freek: The dream came true dudes, seeing Velvet Revolver made me fricking complete as a human being and 30000 people went crazy too. All I have to say is that rock stands by few, and seeing Slash, Duff, Scott and Matt I made sure that few is you. Velvet Revolver rocks!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to NATASA: Velvet Revolver really fucked! Everything was perfect and they gave us a night we will never forget. Thanks and keep on rocking.

Thanks to WEB OF FLOWERS: What a fantastic night these lads Velvet Revolver offered to all Greek fans. Except to the wankers shouting Ozzy, Ozzy while the band was ready for an encore. Raw power, rock n roll at its best, true rock stars. No need for the headline act after this. Can't wait for the new album.

Thanks to Tassos: Velvet Revolver were one of the best rock bands! The stage wasn't big enough for them! They had a great sound and when they appeared on stage with 'Sucker Train Blues' the audience went absolutely crazy! Especially on 'Do It For The Kids' everyone got wild! OK everyone was there for Sabbath too so as the time passed the crowd wanted to see Ozzy! Thats why they didn't shout 'we want more'! Also they are a new band and people don't know them well! I think everyone who was there loved them and Scott is one of the best frontmen in the history of rock! He reminded me of Freddy Mercury on stage with his energy!

Thanks to Mr. Yellowstone: Absolutely blinding show, kicked Sabbath and Zakk Wylde off the stage! Vibrant, faultless and full of attitude.

Highlights:
- Slash appearing first, casually taking off his hat and setting it down on his amp. Not mind-blowing, you might think, but the crowd would strongly disagree. Absolute CHAOS!
- Starting with Sucker Train Blues. The audience was so delirious, you couldn't make out anything but the voice.
- Slash ripping a guy holding up a G'N'R T-Shirt: "Put that fuckin' t-shirt down, man!"
- It's So Easy. nNuff said. Never have I witnessed such a vicious mosh pit.
- An encore with Slither. They tore that song a new exit hole.
- Dave. Believe it or not, the man can do some acrobatics! He got so jazzed up with the crowd, he was all over the damn place!
- Extended intro to Mr. Brownstone second encore. I don't know if they do that a lot, but Slash comes onstage, does a cool blues improv, then Duff, then Matt (who REALLY REALLY liked the gong), then Dave, then Scott and they kick it into gear.
- Dear God, the finish. Duff slams down an amp, Slash feels inspired and trashes down a whole wall of them! Really, no need for Sabbath after that.

Lows:

- Um, pretty much nothing apart from the dildos who kept shouting Sabbath. Bah, infidels...
- Someone starting a mosh pit during Fall To Pieces. Isn't that precious? Actually no, it's moronic.

All in all, a high point and a helluva good start in Greece.

Thanks to Cruelsun: Although I was there to check out Velvet Revolver the band was rather dissapointing. Despite the efforts of Scott running the stage up and down his singing was soulless. The best part was the encore (for which the crowd did not even asked!!) where Slash entered the stage and for the first time during the show his playing reminded who was holding the guitar. Maybe it was the fact that they were supporting Sabbath. They seemed to me that they were just doing A JOB. Not even GnR songs could make the crowd go crazy, not to mention a horrible Sex Type Thing Version. I was definately waiting more for them.

Thanks to Vadergr: It was an amazing show! They played for 70 min and they rocked the house!

30000 Greek fans were driven mad with Slash's guitar and Weiland's moves! Though I think their sound could be better (from the speakers) but who cares? They played Sex Type Thing and Crackerman whick made me happy! They were IDEAL opening for Black Sabbath!
