Thanks to the Jone: Fuckin great show. I saw them at Annexet last year and that was awsome so I thought if I smoked some weed it would get even better this time. And I was right. Slash ruled as usual. Dave was in a great shape. Especially the Set Me Free solo. Can't really decide who was best when they battled, dead race..there was 50000 motherfuckers out there, like MR. Pilot said. Cool as hell. Short but intense show. Must give some cred to Matt and Duff too!!

Thanks to Razzle: Just got home to Sweden after the Roskilde Festival and I must say Velvet Revolver was definitive one of the hightlights. The band played f..king awsome, I saw them 12/8/04 in Stockholm and I must say that you can tell they been on the road constantly after that, the show in Stockholm was f..king awsome but now they have started to improvise more and are tighter as a band. Also cool to see DLT and Superhuman live which they didn't play in Stockholm. I also notised that Scott had problems to walk of the stage after Slither, didn't know until now that he sprained his ankle. Scott, Slash, Duff, Matt and Dave you f..king rock!!!!

Thanks to David G from Sweden: Velvet Revolver's show at Roskilde Festival was amazing! The sun was shining and the boys were rockin'!

Thanks to MaEgk: Went to the show at Roskilde Festival Thursday, where Scott sprained his ankle. And saw the whole thing. I haven't seen it described anywhere and I thought some of you probably wanted to know how it happened!

During the guitar-solo in Slither, Scott was rockin' on top of a monitor. At the end of the solo he jumped back on the stage-floor, but unfortunatly his left foot hit the edge of the monitors low side (you know how a monitor is kind of slanting?). He bend down in pain and from the look of his face it really fucking hurt!! I was afraid he wouldn't be able to finish the song. But as the lyrics kicked back in (...when you look you see right through me...) he started singing again, without even hitting one wrong note though he must have felt like screaming!

And what happens then? The guy jumps back on the monitor to sing the last chorus - perfectly. Now that's some rock n' roll shit for ya right there

That man is just amazing! And so was the show!!

Thanks to erose: Velvet Revolver played at the orange stage which is the biggest of 8 stages, it was actually the opening concert on that stage this year. I'm guessing there were around 70.000 people there so it was pretty big!

The stage also had a new pa system this year and it was quite obvious that they used the first song, STB, to set the sound which they did pretty well imo, it could have been better sure, but you can not blame Velvet Revolver for that, it's simply out of their control...

The set wasn't the longest maybe, but with It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Sex Type Thing, Crackerman I think and a cover of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here which they did really fucking awesome. There were also alot of jamming between songs and in songs, at least compared to the Velvet Revolver show I saw last year and some of the more recent boots....

In the middle of the set Scott sat on some guys shoulder and got carried through the crowd almost all the way to the soundboard where I was standing, he was literally 1,5 meters away from me. It was really cool and he had total crowd control! Slash fucking ran all over the place playing great and it looked like they were really in to that show.

Velvet Revolver was definetly my highlight at Roskilde 05, with Sabbath on a strong second and Audioslave on a great third!
