Thanks to Rick Calvert: I had bought tickets to Ozzfest for me and my son David Calvert for his graduation from high school but he passed away July 13th. However I went and I felt his spirit with me. I loved the set Rob Zombie played and of course me and my son's favorite band Black Label Society totally blew it away. I got there early enough to see all the bands. I really enjoyed the second stage up close and personal. Arch Enemy I could not believe the awesome voice such a good lookin sexy lady has. Velvet Revolver were fantastic too and I finally got to see Ozzy he is still The GOD of all metal I believe. Thanks for a great show to remember My beloved Son with David Rick Calvert (2-21-87 to 7 -13-05).

Thanks to Ian Gurule: It was pretty good and they could of played longer and Slash could of done a solo but they did a fucken bad ass show.

Thanks to BigRick: Velvet Revolver is one of the best bands in the world they kicked ass at OzzFest here. I was a big Guns-N-Roses fan and never got to see them live. So it was fantastic to see Slash and Duff along with Matt. He is no Axl Rose but he did ok. The show rocked but Ozzy is still God. Props to the Ozzman for getting Velvet Revolver to play the show. The whole show totally kicked ass. Also I have to mention BLS stole the show for me.

Thanks to Charlie Torres: First off I was totally wasted, so if I'm not completely accurate I apologize.

As soon as I found out that Velvet Revolver was coming to Ozzfest I jumped on the opportunity to see Velvet Revolver live in my home town. I basically just went to Ozzfest to see Velvet Revolver. The other bands that were on the venue were good and there's definitely a lot of talent just waiting to be discovered. But Velvet Revolver bar none stole the show!!! I was in the 8th row back from the stage and as soon as Velvet Revolver came on I rushed to the front row to jam out!!

The songs I believed I heard form CONTRABAND were "Sucker Train Blues," "Do it for the Kids," "Superhuman," "Big Machine," "Set me Free," "Fall to Pieces," and "Slither." They also played the STP song "Dead and Bloated," and the GNR classic "Mr. Brownstone."

I'm sure everyone knows that Mark Shulman played drums for the injuried Matt Sorum, but during a brief break Scott Weiland made it known to the crowd. Shulman you did a great job, Sorum hope your hand gets better dude!

Velvet Revolver exceeded all my expectations and more, it so sucked that they didn't have more time to play! It was definitely worth the long and anticipated wait just to see them. I hope they come through ABQ again or somewhere nearby, cause I will for sure be there!! I'm gonna try to make it to the Hardrock Cafe in New York, cause I know its gonna be a better show cause they got all the time!!

In summary, Velvet Revolver rocked the show! They are totally awesome live and I can't wait to see them again in concert!! Velvet Revolver keep rockin and kickin ass, cause you guys are defintely apart of something GREAT!! Hell Yeah Velvet Revolver all the way!!!

Thanks to Arturo Perez: Velvet Revolver showed the crowd that rock is still alive in this new millennium and Velvet Revolver is carrying the torch. F*&%k Axel, Velvet Revolver's tunes are original and true to their lives. Rock-on, can't wait to see them headline in Albuquerque.

Thanks to Mark Edmands: First show on Ozzfest for the boys. The crowd was a fat, drunken bunch of knuckle draggers who didn't seem to know who they were seeing.

Scott had the fill in drummer introduce himself, he might have been better served introducing himself and Slash and Duff to these morons.

The set kicked ass. Highlights were Dead and Bloated, an insane version of Mr. Brownstone and of course Pieces. The last song being the only one that seemed to get the stiffs excited.

The people that knew the band loved it, but the metal zombies that were the majority didn't seem to get it. So fuck 'em.
