Thanks to John: This was my second time seeing Velvet Revolver my first time was in my hometown Atlanta Georgia, this show was a good show they sounded great and I had great time although I was a little dissapointed. 1st of all they were late just like the first show I went to 2nd they didn't play Dirty Little Thing 3rd they only played 8 songs 4th they didn't play any GNR songs. On the positive side they sound better than the first time I saw them 2nd they played Dead And Bloated 3rd they played my favorite song Headspace 4th they kick every other bands ass except for Black Sabbath(the founders of metal and doom metal gods)(even though I enjoyed Rob Zombie and Black Label Society) overall it was good show and I had fun. Slash OWNS ALL OF YOU!

Thanks to Velvet Revolver-Addict: This was my first time seeing Velvet Revolver or any of the members in any concert for that matter, so of course I thought it was the greatest thing in the world. But I completely understand what "Hoochie" is talking about. I was in the lawn area torward the middle and the crowd was going fucking nuts...they loved them. Everyone was singing and dancing, especially to Dead and Bloated, wow was that cool. I will never forget it....but it did suck how the pit just stood there like a deer in the fucking head lights. That was the correct set list (7 fucking songs!!! that's it.....on a side note Ozzy made looked better than he ever did. He had so much energy it was amazing...also Rob Zombie kicked some major fucking ass. Well I guess that's all I really need to say, later Starwood and until next time Velvet Revolver.

Thanks to Hoochie: I’m finally home from Nashville!! Last night was my 8th Velvet Revolver show since last November and I do believe it ranks at the bottom of the list. It was very disappointing, IMO. We all know how this band feeds off the energy of the crowd…and this crowd wasn’t into them at all. It was really saddening to me to see the people in the pit just standing there looking at them. But our boys are troopers & acted as if they didn’t notice. Now don’t get me wrong…there were some people in the pit that got into it but not like at a show where Velvet Revolver’s headlining. High-point of the show? Hearing Dead & Bloated! Low-point of the show? A freakin 8 song set list!! No, that was not a typo…we only got EIGHT songs!! I couldn’t believe it!! I knew it would be a shorter set since it was a festival, but never did I imagine it would be THAT short!!

But all in all, it was a great day spent with some great friends! Rob Zombie was AWESOME and Ozzy was surprisingly GREAT!!

Thanks to Andrew D.: Awesome show yet again. I do however have one complaint. Everytime they have played at Starwood, we barely get a 40 minute show. Buzzfest they played 45 minutes at most. Scott was reported as sick that show so I understand that one. Last night at Ozzfest they played barely 40 minutes and I am counting the theme music at beginning of show. They started ten minutes late and ended ten minutes earlier than supposed to. Usual setlist, no Mr. Brownstone but other than that I believe they blasted through the usual. They were introuduced as "The band that puts the "punk" in "punctual" from Hollywood, California, Velvet Revolver!" So I found that funny considering everyone where I was sitting was bitching that they were 10 minutes late coming on. Awesome show just wish they would finally play for as long as they are supposed to.
