Thanks to vfly79: Out of the 3 times that I have seen VR,this performance was the best that I have witnessed. It's a shame that ticket sales were poor and that the Lawn was not open.I was happy! I got to do the M&G and the guys were awesome.Slash being the most talkative and Duff being the silent one.

Thanks to tom: I'm not sure which show some of these guys went to, but this was a bit of a letdown.

the crowd was VERY disappointing. for the first time that I can recall in dozens of shows I've been to at Lakewood, they actually closed the lawn due to poor ticket sales.

Alice put on a great show as expected, but I'd just rate VR's performance as OK. the band sounded tight and the setlist was good, but Scott's voice was very rough, especially early on. I guess the cigarettes are keeping him off the smack, but they aren't doing his vocal chords any good.

they stretched to reach an hour and a half. I expected that somewhat when I saw them in '04, but hoped for better with another great album under their belts

Thanks to Anonymous: HOLY SHIT! after alice in chains, i felt bad for velvet revolver cause there's no one could have followed that set, yet the velvets prooved me wrong and kicked some ASS! the entire time scott was dancing around like a possessed man as usual and the bland played loud and hard like a "rock and roll band", as weiland introduced themselves as, should. it started with scott saying "now im not gonna sk if your warmed up cause its hot as hell out here, but are you ready!" and i might have screamed yes as loud as i could but wow, wow, wow, wow. my favorite part of the beggining section of their set was when they launched into vaseline, a pleasant surprise. then the band set up a smaller, almost acoustic set, where i beleive the highlight was interstate love song. then after quiet time was over, quite possibly the greatest moment of the concert happened when slash took center stage and played a long bluesy solo that went on for like five or ten minutes and lets just say the man has prooved that if anything, hes only gotten better at soloing since that botoxed braided bitch formerly known as an ignorant homophobic racist snob kicked took gnr as his own. Revolver then kicked it back into high gear and turned the entire crowd into their own seithing mosh pit and then it was over, o no it wasnt. we cheared and stomped and screamed and they eventually came back and played slither and sex type thing, HOLY FUCK! and the other moment that is up there with slash's solo is when they launched into a long jam in the middle of sex type thing where scott got the ENTIRE CROWD clapping along in unison to hold the beat and it was just so cool! all in all, ya, velvet revolver isnt as good as gn or stp but who gives a fuck, THEY ROCK! HARD! and they put on a damn good show, great songs, great performance, great interaction, all in all, just an amazing show! when stp and gnr (hopefully) get back togetehr, heres to hoping that vr doesn't totally break up as they are A M A Z I N G !!!!!!!

Thanks to Gonzi85: Fuckin' Awesome Show!! this was my second time seeing VR,but so far the best..Alice in Chains was cool, that new singer hits all notes! im not into that band but it was cool seeing them...When VR came on stage...u could just easily tell this was all about Velvet Revolver! the lights, the screens, the energy....Scott..one of the best frontmen out there!! Slash....wordless...melting guitar solos,bad-ass riffs, great sound and attitude, the guy was soo into it! Duff....running around the stage,Dave was great...fits perfectly with the band and Matt...... not missing a beat...what a great fuckin drummer!!!! they played 3 GNR and 2 STP songs..people were chanting for the encore and then they all came back up and did Sex Type Thing,Brownstone and Slither..... Scott: "We are Velvet Revolver and we play Motherfuckin Rock and Roll" fuck Yeah!!!

Thanks to Lex Gordon: I went and had backstage passes. It was great, I can't tell you the set list because I dont remember. But the guys were great on and off stage and it was a great experience.

Thanks to Deadman: Went to the atlanta show the other night 10/3/07, I wish I would have written down the setlist. I know they played big machine, falling to pieces, she builds quick machines, mr. brownstone, patience, it's so easy, interstate love song, vaseline, headspace, suckertrain blues, set me free and they closed with slither. I know they played a lot more than that, but I had several beers and can't recall the others. The show was awesome, I have seen VR 3 times and this was very good. The band was tight, Scott's voice was crisp. They sound at the hifi buys amphitheater was great. IT was good to see them again, it has been about a year and a half since the last time I saw them in Salt Lake City. The first time I saw them was at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas in June of 2004. That show rocked as well.
