Thanks to Greg: Velvet Revolver played a two-song acoustic

to Matt Sorum. The band consisted of Scott on vocals, Duff and Dave on
guitar and Matt on drums. They were joined by Slash and Izzy Stradlin

Scott
Ordered to Live-in Rehab.
LOS ANGELES (Reuters)
- Former Stone Temple Pilots lead singer Scott Weiland was ordered on Thursday
to report to a live-in detox program followed by six months in a residential
drug rehab center. The court order followed Weiland's arrest on Monday --
his 36th birthday -- for crashing into a parked car in Hollywood and leaving
the scene of the accident. He was charged with driving under the influence.
Weiland, who has a history of heroin addiction which landed him jail time
in 1999, was already undergoing a court-ordered drug counseling program.
Pasadena Superior Court Commissioner Collette Serio said on Thursday that
she would allow Weiland out of the residential facility for a 10-day period
starting Nov. 7 for four hours a day so that he can finish recording an
album with his new band Velvet Revolver. Weiland will be taken to the recording
studio by a police officer and tested for drugs immediately on his return.

Scott Arrested.
This is not the kind of news that I want to report on
this site, and so far I have tried to avoid updates like this. Here goes:
Scott was arrested early last monday (his birthday) for driving under
influence (DUI) and hit-and-run, in Hollywood, CA. He has since been released
on bail, and will have to appear in court on November 17, possibly earlier
for his ongoing probation case, for which he was originally scheduled
to return to court in January. How these happenings will effect Velvet
Revolver's plans, is at this moment uncertain. Neither the band, nor their
label and management have commented. News will be posted here as soon
as it becomes available. Let's hope Scott is doing good.

Small site updates
and wallpapers.
Many thanks go out to Hendrik Sanabria and Henrique Pinto
for sending in two great desktop wallpapers. You can find them in the
downloads section, which, as some of you may have noticed, isn't entirely
working the way it should. The media files will be unavailable until further
notice, due to problems with the media server. If anyone has reliable
space available on a server that can host mp3 audio and sometimes video
files (ideally it would offer around 50 MB space for all files), then
please email me. You can
also use the form on the contact page. Many
thanks in advance for your help!
