Album Update!

Here are some updates on the Velvet Revolver album, which was mastered in NYC last Friday (December 19th). The new tentative release date is set for April 27, 2004 and the current working title is 'Comrades'. The songs on the album were produced by Josh Abraham and mixed by Andy Wallace. According to Blabbermouth and Rolling Stone's reports, there will be 12 songs on the cd, which were selected from a total of 50 songs written by the band after Scott joined them in April. New song titles of the tracks include 'Superhuman' and 'Illegal Eye'. For collected information on the album and its tracks, visit the debut album info page.

Congratulations are in order for VELVET REVOLVER guitarist David Kushner, who married his girlfriend Christine on Saturday, December 6 in California. Kushner's bandmate Slash (formerly of GUNS N' ROSES) reportedly missed the ceremony because his son London's babysitter showed up too late.

Scott court date postponed

VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland's arraignment on a DUI charge has been delayed once again, according to MTV.com. Though he was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, the former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS singer is now due back in court on December 23 to enter a plea to the charge of driving under the influence of drugs, which stems from a late October arrest. In the meantime, he continues his lockdown rehab program in Pasadena, California.
