Slash performs with Camp Freddy

Blabbermouth Reports: Slash was one of the guest musicians who performed with CAMP FREDDY Thursday night (Nov. 16) on an outdoor stage in the middle of Hollywood, California as part of Best Buy's celebration of the new Playstation 3 console. The party was held behind one of the huge Best Buy stores in Hollywood, and the band played for an hour, just before the doors of the store were opened to the huge lines of people waiting to purchase a PS3.

To all.... I know its been a while since I checked in, but I keep waiting for my site to be done in hopes of posting there but.... Ahhh nevermind !! I wanna thank all of u on the forum for the Bday wishes! Its really nice to see.

As for the bday itself, it was great!! Got to play with Camp Freddy last night at this crazy, multimedia shindig in Hollywood, my best friend Scott Shriner brought me up a cake onstage that my wife arranged, and everyone sang happy bday. All my band was there too. It was really cool.

Speakin of the band... As u know, we're workin with Brendan O'Brien now. He's awesome! Just what we needed. He's really workin us good! Hopefully we'll actually start trackin the record in the next month. It'll be worth the wait. Hopefully all of u out there will think so when u get it. Thanx again. - Dave Kushner

VR in pre-production with Brendan O'Brien

Thanks to Sammy_Dirty_Little_Thing: According to Matt Sorum, Velvet Revolver is currently busy doing pre-production for their next album with none other than producer Brendan O'Brien. Matt writes:

Hello All, Very good news to report. Have offically started preproduction with Producer Brendan OBrien. Who has produced many Hit records. Ala Incubus, STP, Pearl Jam and The Boss Bruce Springsteen. Things are moving quick now. And we are all very excited. Rome was not built in a day so I believe everyone Will be very happy when its finished.

A lot of bandmate BDAYs This month. Scott, Dave's is today And mine on Sunday the 19th. Would love to thank Sammy, Jul, Chrissie and Tanja for the sweet Birthday card. Anyway off to rehearsal now, then a gig tonight with Camp Freddy. Hope everyone is healthy and having fun out there. Love to U all!!!!!

Camp Freddy to play a charity show in December

Thanks to Billy Morrison: Camp Freddy will play a special charity show at The Avalon in Los Angeles on December 7. The show will be an Indie 103.1 FM event and all proceeds will be donated to the Musicians Assistance Program/MusiCares. The show will be open to the public and tickets will be on sale soon from Ticketmaster.
