Thanks to Filipe Faustino: Maaannnnn, what a big fucking Rock n´ Roll concert!! Seeing these guys again in stage is amazing. A long time ago I didn´t see a concert with such energy in stage. This guys rock!!! The sound was ok, the lights were great, the crowd were amazing and the energy in stage was..... no words to describe. The setlist was great and what a great choice putting the Sex Type Thing and It's so easy. They just sound really good. They are just beginning, and they will became a big band. Ok, they are a big band...

Thanks to Marco Soares: Heil to the kings!! Rock N´Fuckin´Roll is back thanks to Velvet Revolver just for existing...special thanks to Mr. Slash for the wonderful shows...all of them! :-) Just... Rock n´fuckin Roll!!! Weiland at its best, as the others. As told, just a little noiser at the beginning, the instruments were a bit confusing. Yet, probably the best gig I have ever seen. As one once said, "Slash, thank you for your killing guitar melodies". Hope to see them soon in Portugal.

Thanks to Eddie "Grizzly" Santos: I have no words. It was awesome. It really showed that the "old" guys from the real rock roll can do with two guitars a drum and bass, and of course, Mr. Scott´s voice. It really was a great show. A great atmosphere. You could breath rock on that place. The live version of Slither was great. Backyard Babies was very good also. Sometimes can be a problem doin´the 1st half for such a big band...you can be under their shadow...definitly not the case for the Babies. Hope that they come back. We need a lot more bands like this and less of the new wave rock (pussys).

Thanks to Paulo Rocha: Lisbon, after lunch, in front of Coliseu, so many people with so many shirts of Guns N' Roses. Since 1992, I never see so many people with that "furor" with a band. My presence and that guys presence is not by Velvet Revolver, it was for Slash, Duff and Matt. The concert it was the most wonderful concert I ever see, Scoth was amazing, the ex-Gunners there were no words to describe it. The sound and lights were amazing, when Slash give the entrance of Used To Love Her and when Duff give the entrance of It's So Easy, something missing, that thing was and still is, Axl Rose. If this three guys join again with Axl there is no band to compare with the old Guns N'Roses.

Thanks to Meia-Onça: Hi, I just had a day that i will remember through all my life. I went to Velvet Revolver gig in Lisbon and I caught Slash and Dave when they were living soundcheck. It was mindblowing! See Slash just there! I get an autograph and a picture with him. I attended the show at the first row and the crowd was really wild! The sound was great but there was some technical problems. Duff was in great shape. The highlights were: Headspace, Set Me Free, slither and It´s So Easy with everybody singing along! In the end my brother who attended to his first gig caught Matt´s drumstick!

Thanks to Eurico Teixeira: One of the best shows I have ever seen! Too bad Izzy didn't show up. All the members of the band were really good but Duff surprised me a lot! He has never been a favorite of mine but last night he rocked!

Thanks to Hugo: The show was awsome, everybody went crazy, the songs are moore than good they are fantastic, also the environment in the showroom was contagious. The Portuguese fans realy enjoy the show, thanks Velvet Revolver and everybody who make the concert possible. We sold our soul for rock n roll.

Thanks to Calhau: This was one of the most energetic rock shows I have ever seen! I don´t remember the last time I saw a gig with such energy and enthusiasm. Everybody was fuckin´ insane!! In the beginning the sound was blurry but it got better after a couple of songs although I'm sure that Scott was a litlle quiet in the mix, especially when singing lower notes. Guitars and drums sounded superb! The setlist was the usual: they startet with Sucker Train Blues, Do It For The Kidsand Headspace with full force and the coliseum was literally on fire! Everybody was screaming and singing along /not only the chorus but the lyrics in general. The guys were playing really close to the audience and the energy was superb. Most of the time, Slash was just a few meters from me and it was amazing to see him playing those solos right there. Spectacle and Crackerman followed and by then I was sure that they were giving all they got and having a lot of fun! What else could they do when playing to such a wildest crowd such as the portuguese one?
There was a lot of mosh and push here and pull there and the heat was unbelievable! Illegal i Song was next and Slash did use his voice-box solo with that special feeling he has, you know..it was great. Then came Fall To Pieces and it sounded really cool with everyone singing along and it was great to take a deep breath because I was feeling really tired at this time. Big Machine came next and then the great Set Me Free! There was a lot of crowd surfing or body surfing or perhaps, people flying! Somebody kicked me in the head and I fell in the ground but if you want to have a better clue of how it was at the front row, I have seen bands such as Dimmu Borgir, Immortal, Satyricon, just to name a few and this one was one of the most violent, I'm sure it was! Then came the encores: Used To Love Her ( chill out version, I would say), Slither (phenomenal!), Sex Type Thing (slower but great) and finally It's So Easy, one of the highlights (although I think that there were no highlights at all :P), and Negative Creep. Well, I hope they´ll come back soon for some more rock N' fucking roll, hahaha.

Thanks to Silvia: It was great! They played almost the songs except 3. Scott was really amazing, as usually and Slash wonderfull. I think that this time (comparing with other concerts that I saw in Coliseu ) the sound was a little bit strange, not too good enough. If they came to Portugal again, I will be there, of course. Love you all. PS: I could not sleep last night, how excited I was.

Thanks to Hugo Rodrigues "Resignation" : I don't have words to describe what I saw yesterday. I just want to say two things that aren't enough to describe the yesterday show at Lisbon...simply amazing...simply rock and fucking roll!!!

Thanks to Pedro Reis: Hi! My name is Pedro Reis, from Portugal. I went to the show last night, in Coleseum and I must say it was a dream come true!!! One of the reasons it's because since I was 11 years old that I'm a fan of Slash, he is a living legend. I never thougt I would have another chance to see him live. And then, no need to say, the other members are also legends of rock history...so the result of last night, couldn't be other...a fucking great rock n' roll show...it was incredible...all the energy felt in the room...all of them showing why they're in this life for so long. And all the people jaust responding amasingly...it was really great...just like I imagine it would be...Slash blowing the roof..I really thanks him for that...thanks!

Thanks to Sergio Batista: The opening band was very good, nice riffs and cool atittude but the great moment was to come! See Velvet Revolver live! The set list was about the same the others shows I think. The highlight points for me was Set me Free, Big Machine, Used to Love Her, Slither and It's so Easy!

I think the sound was very loud and it was a bit harder to listen Slash guitar on some solos! Scott his brilliant, amazing performer, Duff have that great attitude. Matt and Dave were amazing also!

I would like that they played a little bit longer but that's ok! I still have by ears ringing!

Thanks to Vasco T: Great show!!!!! Just amazing!!!! Started with Duff on Sucker Train Blues... but first... I was at the side-door entrance and I managed to meet and take photos of Slash, Dave and Matt! Great guys! For all the setlists I see they played more songs on this! The crowd was amazing! I was right in the front row and managed to get a pick from Dave too! They played almost all songs and jammed a lot too! We all could see they were having fun! After the gig stopped by the hotel they were and they all signed my cd! They were very friendly and said they'll be back soon!
