Thanks to Montebello_Goon: I had the oppurtunity to attend the taping of the Tonight Show to see Velvet Revolver. Awesome performance by Velvet Revolver. Fall to Pieces sounds great all the time, but there was something about this performance that was just amazing. Perhaps it was the calmer yet more intimate setting of the Tonight Show or just the fact that Velvet Revolver gets better and better every time (I've seen them three times). Scott, vocally was great. You could see and hear him put his heart into the performance. Slash, Duff, Dave, & Matt, completed the picture. Instrumentally they whre also on the button.
I don't regeret waking up at three in the morning just to wait in line to get tickets for ths how. I took the NBC backstage tour and was lucky enough to meet Slash. He was a cool dude and signed my Metal Edge magazine, on which Velvet Revolver is on the cover(10/04?).
After Velvet Revolver's performance on the Tonight Show, Matt walked up to me and gave me the drum sticks he used. I thought that was a great gesture and showed how much they appriciate there fans.
Awesome, these guys are f**king bad ass!!!
