Thanks to Austin: The show was fucking awesome. From the moment the band first came on stage to the moment they left. I'll never forget when they kicked in to STP's "Crackerman" it was a moment in life I wouldn't give for the world.

Thanks to Michael Garitty: I'd waited for months to see this show and can't tell you how disappointed I was. Not disappointed in the band or the venue but the sound system was the absolute worst I have ever heard. Couldn't hear a goddamn thing except the drums. There weren't many people there so I could walk down almost to the front of the stage and the sound was awful. I'll be looking for another stop on the tour to see the real Velvet Revolver cos' what I saw in Reno was the worst.

Thanks to icy: I am still in shock Velvet Revolver played in Reno. Thank you for that! I never seen them so close. When I saw GNR, it was huge concert hall in L.A. I paid extra to get several sold out tickets for my Japanese friends and they were smaller than a finger nail. It was a good concert they played 3 hrs. This time, I was more than happy to see them so real. I saw Dave was smiling, Duff was giving a pick to a small boy on the front row. Scott's energy was unbelievable. He was great. Slash's guiter.. that was the one I saw in the TV. The show was great. The sound valance was a bit off, maybe I was standing at the Dave's side under the big speakers. I think I felt a mass of energy I waited for a quite long time. Please just keep Velvet Revolver going. You are only hope.

Thanks to Anonymous: The band rocked. I was surprised how great Scott sang and moved around. The only downer was the sound totally sucked. Too loud and non distinctive. Good thing visually they pulled it off.

Thanks to Christine: We got to the Downtown Events Center about 6. The doors opened at 7, but we were about ten people back in one of three lines. It was FREEZING. Despite the fact Saturday was in the low 70s and gorgeous, Sunday was windy and frickin' cold. Everyone just wanted the doors to open so we could get inside and out of the cold!

I ended up right where I wanted to be - on the right side of the stage and right in front. Hoobastank was the opening act; they performed for about 40 minutes, then we had to wait forty-five minutes for Velvet Revolver to come out. I have no idea why they took so long - the people behind me were cracking Axl jokes ('I didn't think Axl was in Velvet Revolver?'). I was joking that Slash had to make an emergency diaper change. But they finally came out and the next hour and a half was one of the best experiences I've had. It was great to get to see Slash and Duff perform so close, not four feet away from where I was standing. They're both incredibly talented and to be able to have that great of a view of their playing was priceless. Slash was RIGHT in front of me for a good 50% of the show. I loved his shirt. It had the Elmer's Glue logo and underneath it said "High on Life." He is in SUCH good shape right now and he looked simply amazing. Duff also spent about 35-40% of the show right in front of me, and Scott about 15-20%.

They did two encores. The first one, Slash came out with the double neck and they did a cover of "Wish You Were Here" before going into "You Got No Right." That was unexpected and not included on the set list of the previous concerts. During "Fall to Pieces" Duff, Scott and Slash were all gathered at the front of the stage standing up on the front speakers. It would have made such a great picture. The second encore was Mr. Brownstone and Slither. I don't know what else to say about the concert, but they were all amazing. Scott didn't look as sick as I thought he would and I think Slash has a new tattoo on his back. I couldn't tell what it was, though, because he runs around so much that the only times he had his back towards me, he was gone before I got a good look at it. It's right in the center between his shoulder blades. I can't get over how good Slash looked and how long his hair has gotten.

Their buses were parked on the street behind the venue and we had to cross that street to get back to the truck, so I decided to lurk around and see if we'd get chased away or not. We didn't, and after a while there was a small crowd of about 10 or 15 waiting around. Luckily we hadn't missed them - Dave came out first, then Matt. The security guards were very cool and the small crowd of fans was incredibly respectful and would scoot back when asked without complaining. Duff and Slash looked tired. Slash was a lot peppier when I met him with Snakepit, but that doesn't surprise me as Snakepit only performed 40 minutes and then had an hour and a half to kick back and watch AC/DC before I found them. We actually had to coax Dave out of the tour bus. He's so used to being 'that other guy' that he seemed to think we didn't want his autograph. Matt brought him out of the bus, then we saw Duff and Slash getting ready to come out of the Events Center and Dave started to sneak back to the bus. Half of us literally cried out, 'No, come back Dave! We want your autograph too, please man? If you have a moment. . .' Everyone was so respectful and nice to the guys. No one was ever demanding. It was always a meek little, 'Can I get a picture too? Is that okay?' The love was really there and it made me proud of my fellow fans. ^_^

Thanks to Eric Lantto: The show was so Rock N Roll it was ridiculous! They put down all the Velvet Revolver material with some serious fury! It was great hearing Duff at one point telling the crowd, "I love my fucking band." It was a moment for sure. Slash was amazing and was rocking a "High on Life" Tee and was brilliant! They performed an accoustic set with Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here! The crowd went nuts for Mr. Brownstone, Used To Love Her and a little STP Sex Type Thing! I couldn't believe the energy behind Headspace! The crowd was so behind this show, pure Rock N Roll! Everyone performed so good tonight! My ears are ringing and I will send in some good flicks later! If Velvet Revolver is coming to your area don't miss out on a kick ass show like nothing else around!
