Thanks to Mercedes: That was the best fuckin' show I have ever been to! It fuckin' rocked! I got to shake Matt's hand but my best friend got fuckin' meet them........ and she met her favorite one Slash. I wanted to meet my favorite one Duff but unfortunately I didn't get to go backstage. Velvet Revolver needs to come back to Portland! Velvet Revolver is the best fuckin' rock band! Woo hoo!!!

Thanks to Monte: Velvet Revolver is my favorite band. I follow all the news, read all the stories, get all the downloads, etc, etc. When I learned of the concrete tour dates back a few months ago, I made plans to be at a Ticketmaster when it opened, figuring that this show might be sold out if I didn't get there early, and I wasn't missing a Velvet Revolver show. I must add, I saw the show last June in Portland--it changed my life it was so good. Anyway, I got my tickets for this show. I got extras (unfortunately). Long story shorter, I wasn't able to sell my tickets. I had 3 friends with me and two tickets left. There was a weasel trying to give me $25 for the pair and I decided I'd rather give them away, which I did. At least someone would get to see a real rock band. We went in and saw the last part of Hoobastank--they pretty much sucked. The lead singer was good but it was more of the same teeniebopper music that's polluting the airwaves these days. We got to the end of that, waited for the set change, and built up adrenaline for Velvet Revolver. When they finally came on, I pushed my way to the front. I'm not paying $50 to stand back and observe. The people in front were girls and young high schoolers. Sucker Train Blues began to rock the house and the show was on. Velvet Revolver did not disappoint, nor do they ever. Not Contraband, not their last show in Portland, nor this or any one. They absolutely rock. Slash is a legend and continues to impress, Scott is an awesome front man and is the perfect man for the job. Duff is Duff--also a legend, as is Matt. Dave is a diamond in the rough--a very underrated guitar player and very modest about it. Can't say enough about the band. They will do great things--watch!! Anyway, the group was intense, but the crowd was not. They lacked intensity. It was a weak crowd who didn't realize what they were seeing. They were weak. Anyway, if you've seen a show, you know the band is great and worth seeing every time. If you haven't seen a show, see one--DO IT!!

Thanks to tangerine7800: It was soo good. I was right in the middle 2nd row. Hoobastank wasn't too bad. But Velvet Revolver was awesome. It was fun until someone got a little too touchy with me, so I asked the security to pull me out. So my friend and I go out to get some air and who's at the concession stand but Art Alexakis from Everclear, I got his autograph. I had so much fun but I'm really feeling it today.

Thanks to Rendon: This was an amazing show. My sister brought me and I had heard only one of their songs in the past and when they started playing, it was like they actualy loved their fans and loved performing for us. This concert was WOW! When I was looking at the screen to see a better shot of them, it was focused on Slash. He played from the heart and you could tell. He played with so much passion. And Scott. He was well, amazing. He loved singing. At times he was this bad ass then in the words of my sister, "he was SEXY." He was dancing and singing and it looked like they all had a kick ass time up their.

Thanks to Ashley: This concert honestly kicked some serious ass. I dragged my brother out and now he's obsessed. I do hope they come back to Portland. It was a loud and perfect concert. One of the best I had been to for a long time. The opening band really stank. Velvet Revolver was so well with the crowd it was as if you almost knew them. All in the concert rocked and I would love to go to another one here in Portland.

Thanks to Jeff: Well, I just got back and the show was good. The band played very well, but the sound in the coliseum was not that good. They're soundman was constantly late on solos, and the vocals were loud, then quiet, then loud.

The band was very energetic considering only half the place was full. The setlist consisted of all the hits, and STP'S, Crackerman, and Sex type thing. GnR songs, It's so easy, Mr. Brownstone, and "Used to love her", which they changed the key of the song, making it sound strange.

Sorry I didn't write the setlist song, for song, but hey, I was enjoying myself. Fuck off to all the Matt Sorum haters, he was in great form and drove the band like a machine. All in all, a great show, bad sound and a surprisingly small, but enthusiastic crowd!

Thanks to Hayley: Two words- FUCKING AMAZING! That was one incredible night, it was a blast!! I can't wait to see the next show. ROCK 'N FUCKIN ROLL!!

Thanks to MysticPrincess7: The boys were rocking! We estimate there were only 600-1000 people there. Scott looked good. We didn't need to send him the cheese burgers we bought for him after all. We were drinking Jack Daniels in honor of Slash. The bar was generous in their servings. Thank god the crowd was as old as we are so we felt very comfortable. The guys all looked extremely good, healthy and they blew us out! With all the crap that seems to pass these days for rockin we were happily shown that there IS someone out there who really knows how. Thank you, Velvet Revolver for a damn fine time.

Thanks to Keenan Jones: Absa-fucking-lutly incredible. The guys were on fire all night! They played Sex Type Thing, Mr. Brownstone and It's So Easy for their non-Velvet Revolver songs. Slash used about 6 guitars, I'm still in shock that I was so close, it was the best night of my life.

Thanks to Tammy: We had all access and it was the most incredible show ever. Scott was WOW. Amazing. Slash..well what more can you say. He's Slash..the best concert I have seen.

Thanks to Shelby: THAT WAS POSSIBLY THE BEST SHOW EVER! Slash played a ton of improves, even 1 behind his head! Scott was a wild man, jumping around that stage and the audience! And Matt even jumped out and ran right by me! That was the greatest show ever! Great job Velvet Revolver!

Thanks to Bustacia: Velvet Revolver kicked some major ass in Portland. They sounded great, Scott was gorgeous and Slash tore it up. This was the first concert that I have been to that I left without an ounce of disappointment. The band really put on a great show. Hoobastank sucked, but most opening acts do. I can hardly wait to see Velvet Revolver in concert again.

Thanks to Michelle: Okay I did not have the big expectations about the show, cause last time I saw them was at a much smaller venue, with only 1400 people and I am not a big venue person, but as it turns out I had nothing to worry about, it was just as great if not better, they seemed much more together this time.

I got there half an hour before the doors opened, I had floor tickets, the line was small, so I got a little bit more enthused. About 7:10 they opened the doors, and I was happy to find out that the stage was small and it was no problem at all to get all the way up in front.

I had the time of my life, it was such a great concert. They played the same songs as they did at their last show with a few exceptions. I was so close that I could see everything, the only thing was the sound, it wasn't as good as when I saw them at the Roseland, but I was closer and I kept my spot all evening. I almost caught a drumstick, but the guy next to me was taller than me.

I had the time of my life, their music makes me happy and made me forget everything else and for two hours I was the happiest that I have been in a long time I had the biggest grin on my face, what can I say they came they played some Rock and Fucking Roll. I wish that it would never have ended but sadly it did end so now I can only look forward to their next CD and tour.

Scott, Matt, Dave, Slash and Duff thanks for making music don't ever stop. You guys are like a bottle of good wine, you only get better with age. Cheers to Rock and Roll or as we say in Denmark Skål.

Thanks to Sweeney Sweeney: Some interesting notes: This was the first time I had seen Velvet Revolver perform and they did an excellent job. The setup was pretty ellaborate, two huge projection screens playing custom videos for each song, as well as some spliced live video footage as they were recording it. They also had a giant lit Velvet Revolver marquee behind them. The opening music played as they walked onstage was from "A Clockwork Orange" during the first scene where they are in the Milkbar, nice choice.

During Illegal I Song they did an awesome jam; Weiland hopped on an organ or keyboard and Slash used a talkbox.

Thanks to Rob L: The show rocked. Performance was great. Sound in Memorial Coliseum is terrible. Really energetic show. Saw them 6 months ago, at the Roseland in Portland and the band is much tighter now. Although the venue change was a bummer. They played the two songs that they skipped the first time Revolver was here. The cover songs were the same, except they skipped Negative Creep this time. I'll go see Revolver any time they come through town!
