Thanks to Zach: I've seen VR 4 times and each time they get better and better. I think it is a shame Dave doesn't get enough credit for what he does. He's amazing. Slash and Scott ruled the stage as usual. Matt wasn't there today but the replacement was good. But the sound was not good, you couldn't hear the lyrics. Really VR fire your sound people and start off new. Besides the sound problems though I loved this concert. Can't wait to see them next year. Keep rockin and I'll keep comin!!!

Thanks to Mick Garrett: Fucking awesome show. Truly Rock N' Fuckin Roll!

Thanks to Pamela: They were great as usual I saw them last November in Cincinnati. So I drove up to Columbus to see hear them and it was worth the long drive and the 97 degree heat. But I love these guys they give me goosebumps all over my body. I can't wait to see them again.

Thanks to Jessie B: This was the first time I have ever seen these guys and definitely not the last. I have been waiting for my chance to see Slash and Duff in concert for a very long time. They were better than I ever imagined they would be! Keep Rockin Guys!!!

Thanks to NikkiLuvVelvet Revolver: I saw this show on Friday... we had LAWN seats but were given 2 ROW pavillion seats by some girls working the sound booth! I SWEATED my ass off, danced and had the best time of my life!! IT was awesome!

Thanks to Kelly Wolfe: This was the third time I've seen them and they get better every time. I drove from PA and it was worth it. I had seventh row tickets, but was able to make it up front and got a guitar pick and a smile and a thumbs up from Duff. Keep up the good work Velvet Revolver

Thanks to The Mayor: I have seen a lot of concerts in my life, but this was by far the best!!! Chevelle only played for about 25 minutes, which seemed rather short, but I was there to see Velvet Revolver so I quickly got over that! This concert was the best natural high I have ever felt, as seeing Slash on stage was the greatest thing ever! He is such an awesome guitarist and it seems that he only gets better!!! The band had endless energy and it never let up for the entire show!! Duff, Scott, and Slash....rulers of the rock n roll stage! I hope to see these guys again soon!

Thanks to Rothey: These guys did not disappoint! They were full of energy and right on all night. It was hotter than hell at the concert. My wife and I had 2nd row seats and eventually ended up in the front row by the end. We jammed all night! I caught a pick from Duff! Cool as hell! A buddy of ours showed up toward the end and he got a pick too, but traded it for a drum stick. We left the concert pumped up. Can't wait to see them again.

Thanks to Jeff Mullen: This was my fourth Velvet Revolver concert, the second during the Electric Wonderland summer tour. This band brings so much energy every night, it's amazing how they can pull it off night after night. The Columbus show was spectacular, even without Matt on stage. I thought the band was tight and the crowd was appreciative. The set list was virtually identical to the Scranton, PA show, the only difference being Come On, Come In replacing Dirty Little Thing. My only gripe about the performance is Slash's leads were just not loud enough again. The Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario shows both could have used better mixing, especially with Slash's solos. During the slower quieter songs like Fall to Pieces his solos were nice and clear, but when the entire band is rocking, his leads are lost in the mix most of the time. It's a shame, I honestly go mostly to see and hear him play. The clarity did improve through the night, but I think it is something the sound crew should be on top of during the sound check. Despite the unreliable sound techs, I will definitely see Velvet Revolver again, they are an amazingly talented band. See you at the Hard Rock in NYC.

Thanks to Rev. Todd Baker: A hot night in Columbus and the crowd was ready to get ripped!

I had already seen them in London, so I pretty much knew what to expect. My friends and I blew off Chevelle and were finishing off our beers in the parking lot when we could hear them say goodnight.

Perfect timing. We immediately headed to the pisser followed closely by the beer line. Kevin had a connection in concessions, so I only spent $5 for two beers (record frugality for me). We got in line and standing behind me was a high school friend I hadn't seen in a while!
Bonus! I gave her a big bear hug and it was at this point her husband was probably wondering,"Who's the hippie hugging my wife?"

When he realized it was me he returned the salutation. Kevin met up with his friends and it was drinks all around! We all chit-chatted during intermission and then went to look for a good spot on the lawn. There were plenty of empy seats in the pavilion, but it ain't like the old days! Sneaking past security when they are checking someone else's ticket is nearly impossible now. Plus, it's harder to smoke weed in the pavilion.
Like I thought, it was pretty much the same set as always. Although, I was bummed they didn't play "Used to love her". Also, they played "Wish you were here" instead of "No More No More". The Columbus crowd went wild for it. Slash is the main reason why people are seeing this band and he did not disappoint! Well, and the chicks dig Scott. They played about 90/105 minutes by my estimate. They came on close to 9 and were done by 10:45--15 minutes longer than their call sheet. Thanks for a rockin' good Friday night, fellas!

Thanks to chubbs21: Was at the Columbus show last night!! It was amazing I have never seen Velvet Revolver perform live before, I was very impressed. It was a great show. If anyone out there hasn't seen Velvet Revolver live, you should it's well worth whatever you have to pay.

Thanks to superDave: Last night's show was amazing! The band sounded great. I was very very very impressed with Brian's drumming. As far as I'm concerned, he didn't miss a beat. Every song had great energy, although I noticed that Scott messed up the lyrics to Headspace, lol. At one point Slash walked over to where I was standing and was like 5 feet away from me. Hope to see them again soon.

Thanks to Who Knows: Great show. The band gave 110% from the notes of Sucker Train Blues to the last notes of Slither. One of the best live bands I've ever seen.

Thanks to Becky Sheehy: I've been going to concerts for 20+ years and by far this is the best concert I've ever been to!!! It was absolutely amazing, all were in top form. Unbelievable is all I can say since I just got home from it, I'm still in awe.....

Thanks to Ron: What can I say about these guys? This is my third time seeing them and each time and gets even better. These guys are so full of evergy it's insane. Most of all are recovered addicts, but you would think by their high energy they were coked out of their minds. Scott slithers around like a snake and is all over the place. Other band members are on guard because everyone is so all over the place on stage. It was absolutely hot as hell but these guys were dead on. Brian Tichey filled in perfectly. No disrespect to Matt or anything (Matt will always be the best) but you couldn't even tell he wasn't there. Brian knew everything, including the long "jams" they do during their songs. Dave was a lot more active than I've usually seen him, he was bouncing all over the place as well.
As for the crowd, there were a lot more people there then I thought there would be. Scott complimented the crowd, telling us we rocked more than the crowd the night before.
The setlist was the same as the previous Electric Wonderland shows except they cut "Dirty Little Mind" but added "Come on, Come in". It seemed the more the concert went on the more it got even better. My highlights were "Big Machine", "Fall to Pieces","Come on, Come in", and "Mr. Brownstone"-(crowd favorite). These guys rock, they are the future of Rock N'Roll. This is the only band I care to see in concert. I can't wait until their next record!!!!

Thanks to Kyle: It was awesome. Come on Come in was awesome live. Weiland pulled off some great stuff. He sounded ten times better than when I saw them in Cleveland. I can't wait to see them next year when they hopefully have a new album out and at least twice as long a setlist.

Thanks to Zach Rhoads: The concert was so cool. It was my first time seeing them and they blew me away. They played all of their album except Dirty Little Thing and Loving The Alien. They also played Mr Brownstone and It's So Easy and Sex Type Thing. They even threw in a Pink Floyd cover of Wish You Were Here. In the middle of Spectacle they started jamming for about ten minutes. They rocked!!!!!!!

Thanks to Joel Blake: You guys kicked ass! Like to see ya again some time! Took my wife and 15yr old son. It was his 1st concert, he's hearing impaired but still likes rock-n-roll. He's in to the goth look! Thank's for the rock'in show!
