Thanks to Jenny: Okay! My newest blog at http://www.myspace.com/jlr_rockstar is finally up and fully loaded WITH pictures and more to come within a day or so enjoy!! Just a head's up but my friend and I were there for the entire show, start to finish including the Red Carpet march.

Feedback welcome and thanks so much to entire band of Velvet Revolver - You guys rocked it like no other and I would love to see you again!!

Thanks to Avi Miller: Awesome show I snuck in to. Matt only played 2 songs toward the end but he introduced the band.

Thanks to Michael Long: Holy Sh^%!!!!

This is my second time catching the Velvet Revolver crew kick everyone's a$$ with one killer performance after the next and it just keeps gettin' better and better. But to be in a private invite only venue where the whole band is literally an arms length away is sick (I’ve got the video footage to prove it!!!). Besides the fact these guys are all veterans with their own successful backgrounds they are the most down to earth celebs I’ve ever met. They were literally on top of the crowd singing and jamming on their instruments. They made it feel like we were all a big group of friends partying at a buddy’s place while the parents are out. Scott's stage presence is amazing and between the dancing and singing he had everyone losing it. He’s an amazing artist and sounded awesome. He sings really great live and had everyone going nuts with the old STP/ GNR classics, not to mention the new Velvet Revolver material, kick a$$ performance. Mark did an excellent job as a stand-in drummer and had his solo moment during Set Me Free. It was also great to see Matt Sorum introduce his band mates and then jump in behind the drums for a song. Slash, I mean what can I say he's friggin Slash!!! All I can say is if you’re a true rocker and haven't caught him live you’re missing out on the opportunity to see a historical figure in the music world. He’s a super cool guy that is the real and raw essence of rock today, from the hair to the leather converse he's off the hook. Duff is an awesome bassist that knows how to get the crowd going - they all do. My girl already thought Velvet Revolver was a great band but now she's a Velvet Revolver die-hard and Duff's #1 FAN!!! Dave is an unbelievable guitarist - DAYUM!!! And also a super cool guy just walking around the Hard Rock chugging his beer and waiting to play. He's an awesome part of the band and plays really hard coming up with those crazy distorted sounds effects. They played for over 2 hours and finished with Dave smashing his guitar to a wah effect from Slash, I actually ended up with a small piece of that guitar!!! An amazing night - thanks to the Hard Rock for an amazing party and thanks to Velvet Revolver for keeping ROCK alive!!!

Thanks to burkly26: Fortunaly, me and my best friend live in the tristate area and have been planning to crash this Hard Rock Grand Opening party for months. On Saturday night we decided to go check out what was going on and later it turned out to be the best day of our lives. We walk up to the Hard Rock Cafe and see the red carpet with fencing surrounding it. We stand there and wait with a million other people, including foreigners who have no idea who Velvet Revolver is, sweating, being pushed and groaped. Finally, after about an hour people start to come in we see Heatherrette, Janice Dickenson (disgusting), Mike Piazza, David Wright, Run DMC, Steve(Sopranos) and finally Dave Kushner and his wife, who is gorgeous. He signed some autographs and went inside. Then Matt and Duff come walking in and we get to touch Duff's beautiful leather jacket and I get his autograph on my phone. Once they went in we waited for Scott and Slash, but they never came through the front door. We were so upset so we walk away and we said we have to get in. We walk around see the exit door with security guards and Run DMC comes out so we said this is the exit, we are going to wait here for them to come out. We waited six hours in our 2 inch heals, we were in pain. Then we try to get in and the security stops us, so we just waited. It is now 1:00am and the crew guys were standing outside and they said "You guys want to get in, don't you?" So we mingled with them for a little and he said they were on there last two songs. Then he says maybe I could get one of you in and there was no way we were doing that. So, he goes ok so we walk over the security guy stops us and the crew guy tells him we are with him. We get stamped and get two vip passes and walk right in. My friend and I were nuts, we run in hear the music run down the stairs my friend trips me I go flying across the floor in front famous people(at least Scott didn't see it), I get up we run through the door, get right up in the front Scott is singing Brownstone and Slither, we are screaming. There was Slash, Duff, Scott, Dave and Matt right in front of us. Scott was wearing his black cordoroy pants, no shirt, and looking beautiful. The songs ended they go in their dressing rooms, we go to the bar and get free drinks(open bar, amazing). They were letting people in the dressing room to mingle with them, who had All Access, which we didn't. We then leave and get gift bags, walk out the front door and go around the back again were we waited 6 hours. We get guitar pixs and I get the SET LIST, that was an amazing moment. Dave, Duff and Matt walk out, we get Matt's signature on our shirts we got in the gift bags. We told him we love him, we love the band and he said I love you right back. He is absolutely gorgeous. We waited for Scott and Slash, but Scott went out another door with Mary and Slash took forever to come out and our feet were killing us, so we just left. That night was amazing and this story is amazing and I wanted to share it with all of you, so you could relieve it through me.

Thanks to John Arena (Ringostp): Just wanna let you guys know Velvet Revolver went out rocking for there last show of their 18 mounth tour. From start to finish the Hard Rock NYC got rocked Velvet Revolver style. Matt also made an appearance he played on one track Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd). Scott, Slash, Duff, Matt & Dave looked amazing. On there last song Slither, Dave crushed his guitar into a trillion pieces (got a piece for myself). Also one of Scott's sweaty towels was handed to me as well as there set list and many guitar picks.
