Thanks to Melinda: Of course VR rocked. I saw them in Costa Mesa as well and both times were great. I was 5 rows back at San Manuel, and the closer you are to the guys the better it gets. Who knew Dave was so hot??? I got a guitar pick; very cool freebie. The sound was great at this venue. Can't wait until VR comes to town again, as I will definitely be there. I have seen rumors online that they will be coming to Hyundai Pavelion in Devore on September 23....anyone else heard this? Dave is great on the guitar and I think he often gets overshadowed by Slash and Duff, who are also great. Great performance, as always.
Thanks to Resa: Oh my God! Scott is so beautiful! I have followed his music ever since he started. I have yet to find my way to the front of the stage. I was on cloud nine, it was by far the best concert I have been too, not my last. They are the perfect match. Everyone was mostly GN'R fans but they love Scott you can tell. Too many cops!!!! Love you Scott, you are beautiful. Don't let anyone get you down. Keep on...
Thanks to Gina Franklin: I have to say......YUM..AND WOW! I love this band! Love STP and GNR so it was great to see this show at the casino! Few peeps that went to the other So Cal show had a good time but nothing like this one! I was floored by the wonderful powerful sex fuck I had at this show from V.R! I had great seats.....drinking and Scott was kind enough to ask anyone whom wanted to pound the front. WAY TO GO! I LOVED IT! I brought in my cam and have some great video......and one great pic! Thanks to Mr. Nila: Velvet Revolver rocked San Manuel Casino in Highland! The venue was great, easy parking, I got right in, $4.00 draft beer and not a bad seat in the place. After a few songs Scott invited everyone to get closer to fill in some spaces between sections. The setlist seemed like the same one I saw from their prior show and it rocked. I felt priviledged to be there and so close to the stage, I was in row K, about 11 rows back and right in the middle. I only wish they would have had Scott's mic turned up a little more because his voice was in killer shape. The band was tight and really gave me what I wanted, some kick ass rock. Thank you Velvet Revolver and San Manuel Casino.
Thanks to WillP: The show rocked. The set was kind of the same as July 22 @ Pacific Amp. They did not play Dirty Little Thing. Also July 22 they did a funky jam during Illegal I, they did not do it last night. Security to get in was very tight. They had a table set up to take away camera's, give you a receipt & you get it back after the show. However I was able to get in my camera & I have some awesome pix's. Early in the set Scott encourage people to move up into the exclusive pit area reserved for casino VIP's & band friends, that is when things started to get wild up front. Highland is in San Bernardino & there is a lot of crazy fuckers in SB & some were out last night. The guys seemed to be enjoying themselves & for me it was rockin to see VR 2x in 5 days.
