Thanks to toysintheattic: What a show! This was my 4th time seeing VR and this was definetly my favorite. I got in line wicked early and met some great people. The new songs kicked ass, especially Get Out The Door. The crowd responded better than I thought to the new songs. The whole place was rocking and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Scott took a nasty fall and got up with blood dripping down his arm and just started singing like nothing even happend, now thats rock n' roll! Like Colin said, I noticed how much Slash was smiling. I don't recall seeing him smile that much and any show I have been to. So overall the show was amazing and I can't wait for the new album!

Thanks to Clark: I thought it was a good show, though I thought the sound mixing wasn't as good as it could have been. I thought Matt's drums were turned up way too much and Scott's vocals were drowned out on a lot of the songs. I was also standing in the back of the club, so maybe this had something to do with it.

You could tell they definitely had all of the Contraband songs worked out really well and those all kicked ass, especially Do it for the kids, Sucker Train Blues and Slither (which was incredible).

Fall to Pieces kicked ass after they got it going (bit of a shaky start, with some guitar/feedback problems).

I also agree that Libertad is going to be sweet, the new songs kicked ass.

I coulda done without Used to Love her and Psycho Killer, kind of thought they butchered those two. Wish you were and Slither were incredible though.

Thanks to VR Duane: The show was great they sounded awesome music sounds much better than it does on Youtube. I was right beside where the band gets on stage Scott's neck was wrapped. Anyone know if he’s having voice trouble? His voice has changed.........even so he still kicks ass. He is a great performer but very hard to read be cool to see him smile. Also he wiped out onstage, he was walking across the speakers there was a gap betwwen them ....he went down I think he hurt his elbow a little but kept going. I felt bad for him, but his response was great. He got up and said....... uhya..... Scott you are the shit.

Thanks to Tomass74: Awesome awesome show. This was my 6th time seeing them and I think it was probably the best. The sound was awesome. Slash could have been up a little more but they sounded great.. Scott was ON all night and they were all tight as hell every song. The crowd was good and people were pretty receptive to the new stuff. Tons more VR shirts these days now that they have been around awhile. The new songs all sounded awesome..

The only thing I would have changed is Used To Love her. There are just so many better Guns tunes out there. It's a fun song and all but ehhh. Dirtly Little Thing needs to come back too! They probably could have played a little longer too. It was great having everyone sing along to songs lihe Superhuman and STB. What a tight tight band.. Wow.. Libertad is going to rule.

Thanks to Colin: First of all the show was unreal, being in such small setting like the Avalon. I was about 6 or 7 rows back from the stage and we made a flag, but the thing turned out to be massive so we tossed it on stage and Scott danced around with it during Superhuman, which was definitly one of the highlights of my night. The new songs were awesome and they got a great response from the crowd during them. The two new songs that were suprisingly the best were Get Out The Door and She Mine. But SBQM, Let it Roll, The Last Fight and Just 16 were amazing. Libertad is gonna be out of this world. I could talk about this concert forever but just one last thing. I read some reviews of earlier shows and they said Slash was smiling a lot and that is true I've never seen him smile so much in the other two times I saw them or in GNR. I would also like to add that Scott is one of the best frontman from the 90's, he just has so much energy, nobody can get a crowd into it like Scott. Awesome show, if you get a chance to see them in a theatre do it.
