Thanks to Mr. Mustard: An unreal show. I've seen them here before as well as other times and this show was my favorite. They all seemed to be having a blast. Smiles from the whole band. I can't recall seeing Scott like that, even at the STP shows.

Sorry to be a bummber but I was on top on Slash's side in the back row. I'm tall and don't want to get in anyones way. Did anyone see that meathead who was jamming in front everyone on our side? He stood in front of me with his hair literally touching my face. We moved him but not without a near confrontaion. His girlfriend pleaded with him to move. I saw him pissing people off all night. Just curious. He didn't ruin the awesome show!

Thanks to Bella: Was a GREAT show, lots of energy, but didn't get squished to death I have NEVER seen Duff this way. I have no idea what got into him, but I enjoyed it greatly.

HILARIOUS about the whole Just Sixteen/Fall to Pieces mix up, and Scott's "Freudian slip." Duff and Dave kept running back and forth switching guitars because everyone was confused.

Thanks to Peebs: Just got home! I spent the afternoon playing with my friends adorable 4 year old daughter. Kids love me....

Anyhoo....WHAT A FUCKING FANTASTIC SHOW! After a terrible ride down to NJ, what would have taken me about an hour to get to my friends took me 2 1/2 hours of solid traffic. ALMOST took away my mojo except as soon as I got off the NJ turnpike Q104 played SBQM! My mojo was back. One thing about Starland, it's in the middle of no place but that place gets sweaty! We were all a bunch of sweatballs. The crowd is always so energetic and the band just feeds off that. But what a difference 7" platforms make, now I know how tall people live! I was able to see everything from the floor.

This has to be the best VR I've seen so far, I hope Nokia on Tuesday can top it!

Thanks to mrbrownstone78: I got some of Scott's sweat on my hand (ew lol). Great show and my ears are still ringing from it. Matt gave one of his drumsticks to my gf!! She also got a copy of the set list (with some of Dave's spit on it) from one of the stagehands. Can't wait to go on Tues!! Also yeah, the VIP wasn't worth it. I also had the starparking instead of the VIP and since I'd been to Starland before, I was pretty confident I'd get rail by just spending the extra $15 on that instead of paying for VIP.

Thanks to Slashba: What a great night. I was right in front of Slash so did not hear much else. Alot of the time I had a hard time hearing Scott singing. I got some great pics and I'll post a few later when I download them. Also scored a Slash pick at the end of the night! Now to do it all again tomorrow night! Can't wait.

Thanks to Slashestophat: This show was AMAZING!! Slash was dancing alot. I was right in the front. Everytime a Guns N' Roses song was played the front of the crowd went nuts. Sweaty hands were evrywhere. After the show everyone tried to meet Slash but they all junped into the blue van to quickly. I asked Matt to autograph my magazine he told me to come here but security gave me dirty looks! Crowd surfers were everywhere. Security were assholes. Everytime a crowd surfer came to the front they grabbed them violently. If they saw an underage drinker they just took there beer and said GOODBYE. Overall I loved this show alot!!!!!

Thanks to I i illegal i: Just got in from the show, just amazing. Seeing them again on Tues @ Nokia Theater, and cannot wait. Was right in front of Slash. The song She Mine is awesome, it rocks. Obviously Let It Roll and SBQM are great ones. Get Out The Door sounded pretty good as well. Just 16 was ok, and believe it or not, I just think it is decent, but it hasn't grown on me yet. I also cant wait til the album comes out and they vary the set more. Hopefully drop Psycho Killer...

Thanks to Ericaaa: I am so deaf.

Great show. Great great great. The new songs were INCREDIBLE. We heard (and I don't know the order): Let It Roll, Get Out The Door, The Last Fight, Just Sixteen, She Mine, and She Builds Quick Machines. I was BLOWN away by The Last Fight. WOW WOW WOW.

I was directly in front of Slash on the rail the entire time, literally fighting for my life amid a mass of sweaty bodies. This one guy was so close to me, I was pretty sure I could tell what religion he was! Haha. That's the experience, and regardless, I love it.

I also got to meet duffdiver and ILoveDuff - really sweet girls! Sorry we only got to chat for such a short time - DD, perhaps I'll run into you in Seattle one day, haha.

But yes, all in all, it was worth every penny. The boys seemed a helluva lot more confident than the last time I saw them - and pretty damn confident about their new material. They're a lot tighter now and sound amazing. I mean really, what can I say that nobody else has?

Thanks to Mike Long: Once again these mot$%#%%^ers come through loud like a Boeing 747 with heavy riffs and excellent precision. I was dead on in the front fighting to hold my spot, for me that's part of the fun. OFF THE HOOK!! The new material got the place going real fast which is not normal. Usually people want to hear the songs they know best but these guys gave us two known tracks and dropped a new one to keep the balance. This is my 8th time seeing them (front row center everytime BTW) and they seemed to be a tighter crew. Just saw Scott and Slash interacting more which is always cool to see in rock bands. I highly recommend you catch these guys live cause it's truly an experience like non other. THIS IS NOT AMERICAN IDOL!!

Thanks to Roxy And Grunge: Show was amazing!!! The new songs were great and the covers of Wish You Were Here and Psycho Killer were dead on. All and all a great show. This was the 5th time we have seen them and they are always an incredible act!!

Thanks to Jay: Incredible show. I've seen them twice before but hearing these guys play at a small club was mind-blowing. They obviously dug the intimate space. I took my 10 year old son and we were able to secure a spot in the first row right in front of Slash the entire night. What a show they put on. The new songs were really good. Can't wait for the new CD! An absolutely tight, hard working band and the answer to "is there any real rock n roll left". There sure is, and we saw it first hand. To cap off the night, Slash, Duff and Dave handed my son a pick after the last song. A moment he (and I) will always remember.

Thanks to Dan: It was a great show, but I don't remember any of it really, glad I am going again to NY Tuesday.

Thanks to Connor: Amazing. That honestly is all I can say.

Thanks to m.p.: This was the fourth time I've seen them live and I would have to say this was my favorite..Scott, Slash, Matt, Duff and Dave were all on and it was awesome to hear the new songs, but also to hear them cover Vasoline for the first time. Can't wait to see them play with Alice In Chains in Holmdel sometime in August...VR rocks.

Thanks to Twistedj: The show ended before midnight but you wouldn't have guessed it was that early! It was an unbelievable concert for a small venue. The guitars and drums were so solid and what the fuck can I say about Scott?!?!? Un-fucken-believable! How anyone can get that sound out of them is mind blowing. Slash was a monster! Spotlight on him casting his shadow on the back wall was the shit! Matt, Duff solid, fucking solid! Fuck the garden, screw the meadowlands! Tonight was so fucking solid I'm still floating on air!

Thanks to Jim Jorgensen: Mother fuckin rock n roll. Going to make this short and sweet because I am physically mentally and emotionally drained from the best concert of my life. The new songs were amazing. I especially liked "She Mine" and "The Last Fight" Saw the band on New Year's Eve but I think this one topped it. New material and new energy from the 5 men that are responsible for the ressurection of rock n roll. Velvet Fucking Revolver!! I'll try to upload the pictures I took tomorrow afternoon. I have about 80 really good pics. Can't wait for the new album, and can't wait to see you guys in Homdel at the Arts Center in August. Well so much for short and sweet. How about lenghty and beautiful? haha rock oonnn everybody!!
