Thanks to Centaine: Here I am...I'm still recovering from my first VR gig...and OMG it was killer *_*

I keep on humming the new songs, I had only listened to bootlegs before and seein'/listenin' them in front of me was something that I'll never forget. Scott proved to be the great frontman he's always been, now more than ever...amazing. Slash was....Slash he was so amused and enjoyed the crowd so much, very interactive. For example in "Psycho Killer" (which I love to pieces), in the chorus, he stopped and watched the crowd, pointing at us and smiled (I was weak on my knees in that moment since I was in the first rows..)waiting for our "fa fa fa fa fa" OMG unforgettable.

Duff was a bit on his own since it seemed he had a cold or something (*pets Duffy boy*) and Saturday was rainy and a bit cold, not the ideal weather if you're sick.

Dave was so hyper! Great performance as well as Matt, a real war machine!

Geez i'm in abstinence....I need to see them again soon...hope they come back for a solo date in Italy again, festivals suck coz the time is limited.

Thanks to Daniel-san: Even among hard rock legends such as Scorpions and Motley Crue, VR made an impressive show. The band sound was loud and cohesive, both on the new and the old stuff. The covers were well selected and suited their style well.

Aside from the occasional background noise from Scott's microphone they performed impeccably and with great energy: the new stuff sounds really good (She Builds Quick Machines is a real rocker) and I can't wait to hear the new album.

Pity on the rain and the mud that tried to ruin the fun, but they stopped for a while just during the VR show.

Thanks to MauTheAlien: Big show in front of a large venue. The people doesn't talk so much, pretty concentrate about the songs. There are 2 flags of the new logo of Libertad in front of stage. Many people called Slash when he appears. Scott exit with a white fur. Let it roll is a big pogo under the rain with many fans that knows also the words. The chorus of Superhuman sang by all the fans. The Last Fight..is simply amazing and I will know for sure that it will be one big hit. You can't resist.

She mine is vicious, a great rhytm, a kick in the face really. Just sixteen has a big Slash solo and lyrics that are simply great. Scott dedicated Wish You were here to all the dears. It's So Easy, what can I say? People that falls down in the mud, happily to fall down, the rain sucks. She builds quick machines was played faster than ever, a must. Many people wears Velvet Revolver shirt and the band was stronger than ever.

Thanks to Cristiano: Show finished two hours ago just in time to arrive home and write. I do not remember the complete set list but they've played SBQM, Just 16, Let it roll, Last fight, Psycho killer from the new album. Contraband now sounds like some GNR songs.. they've played Vasoline, Sex Type Thing, Wish You Were Here, Mr Brownstone and It's So Easy from their previous band. On stage they are really kick ass. Thanks Velvet Revolver for coming to Italy. Wait you soon really to blame the weather ... fu$$--ing raining all the time ....
