Thanks to Janice Dahl: HI GUYS!!!! SCOTT IS A GREAT SINGER AND SLASH IS AMAZING. YOU GUYS ROCKED. I HAVE WANTED A BAND TO REDO A SONG [RADAR LOVE] BY GOLDEN EARRING. I THINK YOU GUYS COULD LEARN THIS AND PLAY IT WELL. ANY WAY GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU. THANKS FOR A GREAT TIME. BOB AND JANICE

Thanks to Linger: Concord was rockin! There was no denying that. Alice came on and seriously rocked. It is insane how great they sounded. After they tore the roof off, expectations were high for VR. I was anticipating the BEST! I saw them at the Warfield prior and they were on FIRE.. But it just wasn't there night. They came on late due to Tech. Difficulties.. Once they came on, Scott's mic wasn't calibrated correctly, the music overpowered his voice. You could not hear him. He even looked to the side stage signalling, "TURN ME UP!" A few songs later, and a few Tech issues later, things got better. But since they did start late, you could tell they were rushing to get through as much of the set list as possible. The acoustic part, and the GNR songs were great! Those were as tight as ever. All in all, it was a great concert. I urge you to see both of these bands live. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks to Derek M. : the show at the Concord Pavilion was freakin' awesome!!!!! there was a big turnout for Alice in Chains, and even though they were cool, I was there for VR. I saw them back in May when they performed at the Warfield in SF. that show was simply phenomenal and amazing, one of the best shows I ever saw. this show rocked too. the band came on late due to technical difficulties but they played tight and were on key. they smiled and marched up and down the stage, having a great time. I was hoping to see them do Just Sixteen, Pills, Demons, etc., and Gravedancer but they didn't do those. also was hoping they'd do Psycho Killer again. Love that!! Scott sounded and danced great!! Matt's percussion was amazing. the crowd responded really well to the GnR material, especially Patience. The Libertad songs sounded excellent live.

Thanks to Rob: Alice In Chains were fantastic. The new lead singer isn't Layne, but the band still rocks!

Velvet Revolver had a very bad night. They went on really late. Scott Wieland was really out of sync with the rest of the band. I've seen him perform several time before, and he is usually super dynamic. Very poor last night though, and even missed several notes. The band seemed pretty unhappy about it. We left early and had plenty of company.

Sorry for the bad news.

Thanks to JamesIV: Such an awesome concert!! Alice in Chains came in and rocked the house with all their big hits throughout the AIC career!

Once VR came on I was blasted away! When the first riff started for Let It Roll you knew something amazing was about to happen! They practically tore the roof off the venue! Their sound was so overpowering it was amazing! Scott simply was at his best belting out the tunes out of his well known bullhorn! Every band member was giving off so much energy! These guys definitely know how to put on a freakin amazing show each and every time! This was my most favorite show out of all the times I have seen VR during the last couple of years! I was even surprised when they played STP songs such as Vasoline and they even performed Interstate Love Song acoustic! The crowd went crazy and sang along when they played the GNR's tune Patience! Slash was on ten the whole entire show with his classic guitar solos and did some freestyle along the way as well! How awesome is that! A great live version of The Last Fight was something to remember! They put so much passion into that song! From song to song VR killed the crowd with their style and lyrics! Everyone had their own amazing story to tell after the concert was over! These guys are the real deal! As Scott Weiland always says in the beginning of each show.."We're Velvet Revolver and we play Motherfuckin rock n roll!!"
